If you are still unsure or just need simple questions answered, then hopefully this FAQ will help.  Here we will try to answer some of the most common questions we receive.  We have complied this list to try and give you, our audience, some quick and simple answers.

Will Managed Operations install my new router for me?
  • The simple answer is yes! You don't have to buy software and hardware from us to have us support it.  Indeed Managed Operations don't even sell hardware and software.  We source and supply it to you as a FREE value add.  If you have bought a router, just give us a call and we will come and install it for you, set it up, even add it as an additional router to you network if required.

 

Will Managed Operations visit my home office as well as my business office and help me?
  • Yes, Managed Operations can assist you even if you are working from home that day.

Will Managed Operations help me out of hours?
  • Managed Operations have many configurable support options.  With that said don't worry if you don't have a 24hr or Out Of Hours support contract with us, we are still here to help on a per call basis.

 

I am growing fast, can Managed Operations set new machines up before my new people start so they are ready to work when they get here?
  • Yes, All you will need to do is tell Managed Operations when new employees are starting and we will ensure your systems are ready for them to use.
Can Managed Operations move company systems to my new location?
  • No problem! Tell Managed Operations where you are going and when and we will take care of the rest.  We will run the move as a project and ensure your systems are ready to use the day you move in.

 

I don't want to have a contract with Managed Operations.  Will they still help me?
  • The answer is yes! Although Managed Operations urge our customers to seriously consider a contract with us, we will help you without one.  There are real cost savings in having a contract with Managed Operations as well as many other benefits.

 

I don't want the DRA or ETS services from Managed Operations.  Will they still visit us?
  • Yes and at no extra charge! If our help desk cannot fix your issue over the telephone then we will send an engineer to your business to fix it problem "hands on".  Managed Operations will resolve your issue!

 

How will Managed Operations save me money?
  • The cost savings are so many that we have an entire page dedicated to it. Ultimately Managed Operations will save you money.  Please follow this link to our "Value Proposition" page for full information.

 

I want my email and contacts on my Cell Phone or PDA.  Can this be done?
  • Yes! Managed Operations can configure your Cell Phone or PDA to send and receive your email and contacts.

 

Will Managed Operations change my support package if I find it is no long suitable?
  • Absolutely! Not only will Managed Operations change your support package, and we will do it FREE OF CHARGE!

 

How will I know how much time Managed Operations has spent working with my business?
  • Unlike many other solutions providers, all Managed Operations on site staff use time sheets.  This means you will be clearly able to see how much time you have used and what was done. Allowing you to analyze your support contract and adjust as necessary, Saving You Money. 

Can I remove my purchasing headaches with Managed operations?
  • Yes and we do it free of charge as a "Value Add" for you, our customer.

What about my critical company data?
  • There are many options to keeping your critical data safe.  Managed Operations will ensure that your critical company data is backed up, safe and secure.  We will work with you to find a solution that works for you.  Not only will we ensure it is backed up, but we will restore it for you should disaster hit.

Why don't I just employ someone to work for me or do it myself?
  • Employing someone to work for you as a member of staff is very costly as citied on our "Value Proposition" page, as are the drawback to "self help".  With Managed Operations you have access to an entire IT department and many years of IT expertise enabling huge and demonstrable cost savings.

 

Can Managed Operations keep track of my software library?
  • Absolutely, Managed Operation can track the following items for you.
  • Licensing
  • Licensing Renewal
  • Versioning

Managed Operations will even keep copies of your software should you lose your media.  We will be able to supply you FREE OF CHARGE copies of your software.
